1099 Independent Contractor – Residential & Commercial Electrician Join Full Circle Property Service as an independent electrical subcontractor. We're looking for reliable, experienced electrical contractors for residential and commercial repairs, maintenance, remodeling, and installation projects in Aurora and surrounding suburbs. This is a project-based independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position. Contractors may accept available projects based on their qualifications, availability, and agreed pricing. Main Work

• Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial electrical issues.
• Install or replace outlets, switches, light fixtures, and ceiling fans.
• Install wiring, circuits, and electrical connections for remodeling and build-out projects.
• Complete electrical work for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, offices, retail spaces, and other commercial properties.
• Perform panel upgrades, dedicated circuit installations, and lighting upgrades within your qualifications and licensing.
• Complete other electrical installation, repair, and maintenance projects as agreed.

Responsibilities

• Complete accepted projects with quality workmanship within agreed timelines.
• Perform work in accordance with applicable electrical codes, permit requirements, and inspection standards.
• Communicate regarding project progress, material needs, and unexpected issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and treat customers' properties professionally.
• Coordinate permit and inspection responsibilities with Full Circle before starting work.

Qualifications

• Experience independently completing residential and/or commercial electrical projects. Experience in both is a plus.
• Appropriate electrical licensing, certifications, and contractor registration for the municipality and type of work performed.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and understand project plans.
• Reliable transportation and your own tools and testing equipment.
• Good communication skills and professional customer service.
• Current general liability insurance and documentation of qualifications.

Compensation and Project Terms Compensation is negotiated per project based on the scope and complexity of the work. Project scope, labor pricing, material responsibilities, and payment terms will be agreed upon in writing or by email before work begins. Contractors operate their own businesses and are responsible for their taxes, insurance, tools, and operating expenses. This opportunity does not guarantee a minimum number of projects or hours.
