Assistant Site Engineer (Fresh Grad Welcome)
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Site Engineer to join our project team and support the execution of ERSS / TERS and civil engineering works which mainly involved in LTA Projects . Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. This is a hands-on site role with opportunities to gain practical experience in construction, temporary works, site coordination, and project execution. Candidates with relevant site experience will also be considered for a more senior position.
Key Responsibilities
Site & Project Coordination
- Assist in coordinating daily site activities and construction works
- Monitor work progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
- Assist in coordinating workers, subcontractors, and site supervisors
- Support site planning, resource coordination, and work sequencing
- Assist in ensuring timely completion of site activities
Technical Support
- Assist in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Support site measurements, quantity take-offs, and material coordination
- Assist with the execution of ERSS/TERS and temporary works, including excavation, strutting, and support systems
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues on site
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Attend site meetings and assist with technical discussions
- Follow up on site issues and ensure proper communication between relevant parties
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain site records, daily reports, inspection records, and relevant documentation
- Assist in ensuring works comply with approved MOS, RA, SWP, and project requirements
- Support WSH and site safety requirements
Quality & Safety
- Assist with site inspections and QA/QC activities
- Ensure workmanship meets project specifications and quality requirements
- Assist with ITP and inspection documentation
- Report defects, non-conformance issues, and site safety concerns
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Candidates with relevant site or construction experience will have an advantage
- Interest in civil, structural, foundation, ERSS / TERS, or temporary works
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willing to learn and work in a hands-on project environment
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD / BIM knowledge is an advantage
