Financial Accountant

12-Month FTC London | Hybrid Up to £55,000 + Benefits We’re working with a large international organisation looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a broad role supporting European financial operations, with responsibility for accurate financial reporting, statutory accounting, group consolidation and audit. Key responsibilities: Supporting monthly and year-end financial close

Preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations

Producing analysis and reports for senior stakeholders

Preparing quarterly and annual group consolidation reporting

Taking responsibility for the annual statutory audit

Ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies

Providing technical accounting advice across the business

Supporting finance system enhancements and process improvements

Strengthening financial controls across accounting processes

Assisting with ad hoc finance projects

About you: ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualified or part-qualified

3–5 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience

Strong financial reporting and analytical skills

Good understanding of statutory accounting and IFRS

Confident Excel user

Able to communicate effectively with operational and senior stakeholders

Previous supervisory or people-management experience would be beneficial
