Technical Buyer

To strengthen our team at the Sattledt location, we are looking for 1 Technical Buyer. Do you want to actively help shape technical innovations and are you ready to take on responsibility in a dynamic environment? Then become part of our team and support us in Direct Procurement as a central interface between development, manufacturing, and suppliers.
Your tasks:
As a technical buyer, you will undertake diverse and responsible activities - with a focus on electronic and electromechanical components (e.g., semiconductor components, transformers, inductors, and connection technology):
- Interdisciplinary teamwork in product creation (R&D, manufacturing, and quality management)
- Supplier selection, evaluation, and qualification including conducting audits
- Analysis and monitoring of relevant procurement markets
- Implementation of the commodity group strategy
- Creation of inquiries, tenders, and price comparisons
- Execution and conclusion of price and condition negotiations
- Contract design in close coordination with our legal department
Your profile:
- Completed higher technical education (e.g., HTL, FH, TU) with commercial understanding
- Initial professional experience in procurement is an advantage
- Confident and open demeanor
- Structured and precise way of working
- Analytical thinking paired with personal responsibility
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
- Willingness to travel for supplier and trade fair visits

Our wages and salaries are above the collective agreement (KV) of the electrical and electronics industry. The KV minimum values are between € 3,888.53 and € 4,993.21 - with a willingness to overpay. The exact amount depends on your qualification and experience.
