To strengthen our team at the Steinhaus location near Wels, we are looking for 1 Design Engineer in the field of Automation. Your tasks:
As a Design Engineer in the field of automation, you will deal with the conception and detailing of automated welding systems - from individual components and assemblies to the overall layout. In doing so, you will take design guidelines into account and use our product databases, such as Windchill PLM, as well as our ERP system, for support. The varied field of responsibility includes:
- Regular coordination with project managers as well as the development and production departments
- Selection of suitable manufacturing methods and materials for components
- Design elaboration of customer-specific automated welding systems (project planning)
- New and further development of components and expansion of the product portfolio
- Support of the sales department in the creation of concepts and calculations
Your profile:
- Structured - Communicative - Team player
- Completed training in the field of mechanical engineering (HTL, FH/Uni)
- Several years of professional experience in design within mechanical and plant engineering (min. 5 years)
- Knowledge of relevant design guidelines
- Experience with 3D CAD systems (preferably Creo Parametric)
- Sound knowledge in the fields of steel construction, drive technology, turning and milling technology, sheet metal technology
- Experience in the implementation of economic tasks (e.g., preparation of calculations, comparison of offers)
- Experience with product data management is an advantage (preferably Windchill)
- English skills

Our wages and salaries are above the collective agreement (KV) of the electrical and electronics industry. The KV minimum values range between € 3,888.53 and € 4,993.21 - with a willingness to overpay. The exact amount depends on your qualifications and experience.
