Test Engineer for a leading technology company

Are you a test engineer who wants to work closely with both software and hardware in a technically advanced environment? ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Test Engineer, you will become part of a larger technical operation that develops advanced and safety-critical systems. You will belong to an experienced test team that currently consists of approximately 15 people and is now in an expansive phase.

In this role, you will work with verification and testing of safety-critical software in a hardware-proximate environment. A central part of the work takes place in HIL-rigs (Hardware-in-the-Loop), where you test software together with physical hardware to ensure that the systems function according to set requirements. You will work closely with both other test engineers as well as developers and other technical competencies.

DUTIES:

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform testing of safety-critical software and hardware-proximate systems
• Work with testing in HIL-rigs
• Analyze and document test results as well as identify deviations
• Collaborate with developers and other engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
• Contribute to developing and improving test methods and workflows

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has at least one year of professional experience in testing, for example, of software, embedded systems, or hardware-proximate systems
• Has a university or engineering degree in data, software, or a corresponding field.
• Has experience from a technically complex or safety-critical environment, for example, within the automotive industry, railway, medical technology, or similar
• Has an interest in and understanding of hardware-proximate testing
• Has experience in programming or scripting, for example, in Python
• Has a good ability to document and analyze test results
• Has very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as the language is used in daily work

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client's site.

This position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the currently applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security clearance, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
