Project Manager in Procurement

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Friday is seeking, on behalf of a client, a project manager who will lead procurement projects. You will become part of an international team of eight people creating business value in an open, multicultural, and dynamic environment with highly innovative products. The team is defined by team players with energy and creativity who drive change and strive for the best to deliver results.

For example, you will:

• Lead and manage procurement projects from start to finish, ensuring they are aligned with company goals.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure that project objectives meet procurement strategies regarding cost, quality, features, and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and challenge cross-functional teams to ensure best terms and project deliveries.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and solve problems to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations throughout the procurement process.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have post-secondary education in procurement, finance, industrial engineering, or alternatively several years of professional experience in procurement and project management that is equivalent.
• Have professional experience in procurement and project management, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written, as the language is used for both internal and external communication.

It is a merit if you:

• Have professional experience from the automotive industry.
• Possess knowledge in PowerBI.
• Have a master's degree.
• Are fluent in Swedish.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday.

• Start: Immediately/According to agreement, taking notice period into account.

• Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
