Junior Component Designer in RF and Microwave Engineering

Have you recently completed a technical university education specializing in RF, microwave engineering, electrical engineering, or high-frequency electronics? ABOUT THE ROLE

You will become part of an experienced technical team developing microwave components for both existing and future products. You will work with the entire chain from design and simulation to testing and verification, with elements of research, development, and work with testbeds.

As a junior, you will have the opportunity to build upon your knowledge alongside colleagues who have extensive experience in RF and microwave engineering.

Examples of tasks:

• Design and development of RF and microwave components
• Electromagnetic simulation and analysis
• Development and evaluation of electrical components and circuit solutions
• Testing and verification of component performance
• Documentation and collaboration with other technical areas

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in, for example, electrical engineering, engineering physics, photonics, or a corresponding relevant field
• Have taken courses or completed projects in RF, microwave engineering, or high-frequency technology
• Have an understanding of analog electronics and electrical circuits
• Have a clear interest in component design and physical hardware development
• Communicate fluently in English, and proficiency in Swedish is a merit

It is meritorious if you have experience in RF or microwave engineering through, for example:

• Thesis, internship, or relevant part-time work
• Electromagnetic simulation
• Keysight ADS, Ansys, or similar simulation tools
• RF measurements and laboratory instruments
• Hardware, PCB, or component design
• MATLAB or Python for testing, measurement, or verification

Above all, we are looking for you who is curious, driven, and has a great interest in RF and microwave engineering. You want to understand how components and technical solutions work in depth and are motivated by developing within the field. As a person, you take responsibility for your work, enjoy solving technical problems, and thrive on collaborating and learning from others.
