Are you a curious and solution-oriented mechanical design engineer who wants to be part of developing innovative technology? At our client, you will become part of an entrepreneurial scaleup where innovation, personal responsibility, and close collaboration drive development forward! We work with continuous selection.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of mechanical design engineer, you will work with the development and further development of advanced machine systems. You are responsible for translating product requirements into well-thought-out and manufacturable design solutions and following the development work from concept and design to prototype, verification, and production adaptation.

You will work with mechanical design in Creo, produce drawings, technical documentation, and apply tolerances to components and assemblies. The role also involves conducting technical analyses as well as ensuring that the designs meet high requirements for function, quality, and manufacturability. You will become part of a cross-functional development team where you collaborate closely with colleagues in, among others, mechanics, electronics, software, and production to ensure a well-integrated and production-ready machine solution.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop mechanical solutions for advanced machine systems.
  • Design in Creo and produce drawings and technical documentation.
  • Ensure function, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with mechanics, electronics, software, and production teams.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE:

  • Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to see the big picture, understand the interaction between different subsystems, and produce design documentation, drawings, and dimension/tolerance components.
  • Experience with 3D-CAD, preferably Creo.
  • Ability to work independently and drive your own design tasks from idea to finished solution.
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious skills:

  • Experience with PDM systems (Windchill).

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for you who thrive in an entrepreneurial scaleup environment where personal responsibility, collaboration, and commitment are in focus. You are self-driven, take ownership of your work, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across different technical areas. With a strong interest in technology and drive, you are motivated by developing innovative solutions. You are confident in your technical assessments, receptive to others' perspectives, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you take initiative and contribute to both the team's and the company's development. Great importance will be placed on personal qualities.
