Key Requirements

Previous experience in office or commercial building cleaning.

Front Desk experience is an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Reliable, punctual and well-organised.

Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.

Professional, presentable and courteous.

Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.

Ability to follow instructions, established procedures and workplace standards.

Basic organisational and time-management skills.

Minimum Academic Qualification

KCSE.

A Certificate in Cleaning Services, Front Office or a related field is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Office Cleaning & Housekeeping

Carry out daily cleaning and general upkeep of the office.

Sweep and mop floors and clean workstations, furniture, corridors, reception, and common areas.

Empty office bins and ensure proper waste disposal.

Clean windows and other surfaces as required.

Sanitise high-touch surfaces and respond promptly to spillages and other cleaning needs.

Ensure the office remains clean, organised, and presentable throughout the day.

Washrooms & Kitchenettes

Clean and disinfect the office washrooms regularly throughout the day.

Replenish tissue, hand soap, air fresheners, and other sanitary supplies.

Clean and maintain the office kitchenettes, including countertops, sinks, appliances, cupboards, and utensils.

Monitor hygiene standards and report any maintenance or plumbing concerns.

Meeting Rooms & General Office Support

Clean, prepare, and reset meeting rooms before and after use.

Ensure whiteboards, markers, wipers, and extension cables are available when required.

Refill drinking water dispensers and jugs.

Monitor cleaning and hygiene supplies and report when stocks are running low.

Water and maintain indoor plants.

Identify and report facilities, maintenance, or safety concerns.

Basic Front Desk Support

Support with the opening and closing of the office.

Welcome and direct visitors professionally.

Notify employees when their visitors arrive.

Respond to or appropriately direct basic Front Desk enquiries.

Support visitor management and meeting room coordination.

Escalate security, visitor, or facilities concerns when necessary.
