The company: A leading global distributor of components specialising in helping manufacturers providing innovative solutions

Main duties: You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of incoming and outgoing goods ensuring a high standard is maintained.

The role:

• Accept incoming deliveries, verifying goods against paperwork ensuring all is recorded accurately
• Log components, including part numbers and quantities
• Cross-check components against datasheets
• Carry out detailed quality inspections using cameras and other tools
• Be responsible for the repackage of goods for dispatch
• Complete and process international freight documentation accurately
• Liaise with internal managers as needed
• Warehouse duties when needed to support the team

The candidate:

• Previous experience in quality inspection, inventory control, logistics or warehouse management beneficial but not a requirement
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong IT skills
• Forklift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential
