French Speaking Sales Account Manager

Up to £35,000 plus monthly on-target bonus French Selection, a leading UK-based consultancy specialising in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international businesses across a wide range of industries and services. We specialise in French, German, Italian and Spanish-speaking positions, as well as opportunities requiring Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Scandinavian languages, Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic and other languages.
Your tasks
Main duties: Managing existing customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities across the French-speaking markets
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts through upselling
- Research and identify new business opportunities with retailers and wholesale customers
- Maintain successful, long-term relationships with buyers and retail partners
- Promote new product launches and drive repeat business.
- Re-engage previous customers and identify opportunities to grow their accounts.
- Attend trade shows in France, normally twice a year, to showcase products and develop customer relationships
- Manage sales opportunities and grow the company's presence across French-speaking markets
Requirements
The candidate
- Fluent in French (written and spoken) - Essential
- Experience in sales and/or account management, ideally within a B2B environment
- Willingness to travel to France for trade shows
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Proactive and commercially minded, with an interest in developing new business
- Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working towards sales targets
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
