Accounts Manager

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Finance Accounts Manager for a well establised Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Feltham. Middlesex area.

Your tasks

Duties will include:-

• To oversee the smooth running of the account department and lead up to 5 Staff
• Accounts payable / receivable, Sales Ledger, Billing and Credit Control

• Recruitment & other associated HR functions for the department.
• Bank / Duty Vat reconciliations

• Overseeing quarterly VAT Returns
• Oversee credit checks & risk assessments on new clients, UK and overseas

• Liaising with senior management and external financial accountants when required
• Overseeing the processing of sales and purchase invoices

• Intercompany accounts management.
• Handling any customer / supplier queries

• Reporting to the senior management team
• P&L / Aged Debtor reports / Budgets /Payroll / Balance sheet

• Quarterly / Monthly Management reporting Inclusive of consolidated accounts.

Requirements

Experience needed:-

• Previous experience within all aspects of accounts / finance
• Previous Managerial Experience with a large team

• Experience within cargo / freight forwarding/ logistics
• AAT / ACCA trained

• Good knowledge Microsoft Excel / Sage 50 / ASM / BoxTop / Sage Intaact
• You should be self-motivated and self-driven

• Attention to detail, very good organisational skills

Working hours are; Monday- Friday 09.00-17.30pm office based only.
