At our location in Wachtberg, we are looking for a CLERK IN THE FIELD OF FINANCE & CONTROLLING at the earliest possible date. As an administrative employee, you will support our scientific departments and thus contribute decisively to the success of the institute. Here you will ensure change
- Specifically, you are responsible for the planning, calculation, application, and budget control of national and European funding projects as well as industrial projects, taking into account budgetary law and commercial aspects.
- In doing so, you advise the project managers and executives in all project phases and support the departments with personnel resource planning, time and project resource allocation, budget control, as well as business administration and grant law issues.
- You monitor the project funds as well as the allocation and accounting of project-related procurement processes, taking into account the respective legal regulations, and ensure the smooth settlement of projects.
- You keep an eye on ongoing project controlling and thus ensure transparency and traceability.
This is what you bring to the table
- Successfully completed Bachelor's or Fachhochschule degree in the field of administration or economics, alternatively training as a Verwaltungsfachangestellter or Verwaltungsfachwirt, or commercial training in administration, supplemented by relevant professional experience
- Ideally experience in the field of project administration/controlling in a research institution or in an institution funded by public funds
- A very good understanding of numbers and analytical thinking skills, especially when reviewing contract contents
- Comprehensive IT skills, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as ideally SAP
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Furthermore, you organize your area of responsibility independently and efficiently, attach great importance to accuracy, maintain an overview even with a high workload, communicate skillfully and friendly, and demonstrate a solution-oriented approach as well as strong team and service orientation.
