Position Overview

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective medication therapy, delivering exceptional patient care, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy.

The successful candidate will be a *patient-focused, organized, and team-oriented professional* who can work confidently in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely *dispense prescription medications*
• Provide comprehensive patient care within the full scope of pharmacy practice
• Conduct professional services
• Provide medication counselling and answer patient medication-related questions
• Administer injections and provide other clinical pharmacy services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication profiles
• Compound medications as required
• Communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with leading and supporting the pharmacy team
• Contribute to efficient day-to-day pharmacy workflow and operations
• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be a *Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia* and in good standing
• *Injection certified*
• Minimum *1 year of Canadian retail/community pharmacy experience preferred*
• Experience with *Kroll and/or WinRx* is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy community pharmacy
• Flexible and willing to work weekends when required

Employment Details

*Job Type:* Full-Time / Part-Time, Permanent

*Pay:* $50.00?$53.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

*Schedule:*

• 6?10 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as required

*Work Location:* Vancouver, BC

*Remote Work:* No

*Important:* Pharmacists may be scheduled between *two Vancouver pharmacy locations*. The locations use *Kroll and WinRx* pharmacy management systems.

Experience

• Canadian retail/community pharmacy: *1 year preferred*
• Pharmacist: *1 year preferred*
