As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team and play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of our products from China to our customers across the EU and UK.

The Role

As Logistics Coordinator, you will support and coordinate our logistics operations, ensuring goods move efficiently through the supply chain and arrive with customers on time.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and has excellent organisational and communication skills.

You will work closely with suppliers, transport companies, our warehouse in Germany, couriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure every shipment is managed efficiently from dispatch through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

• Monitor purchase orders and delivery windows to ensure goods are delivered to customers on time.
• Track shipments in transit and proactively follow up on any delays or issues.
• Manage and organise deliveries to our warehouse in Germany.
• Prepare and send all necessary documentation to the German warehouse, including picking notes, delivery notes, commercial invoices, and other relevant paperwork.
• Monitor goods leaving the warehouse and ensure customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
• Investigate delivery issues and delays, identifying the cause and working towards a resolution.
• Obtain quotations from transport companies for palletised goods and select appropriate transport solutions.
• Book deliveries through customer portals and ensure all required information is provided accurately.
• Arrange courier deliveries and provide all necessary documentation for customs clearance.
• Maintain accurate records and keep track of daily customer deliveries.
• Carry out general logistics administration, including checking invoices, entering orders, liaising with couriers, and contacting customers when required.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with transport providers, warehouses, couriers, and customers.

About You

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys taking ownership and ensuring things get done efficiently.

You will ideally have:

• At least 2 years' proven experience in a Logistics Coordinator or similar logistics role.
• The ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to manage and track multiple shipments and processes simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good administrative and IT skills.
• Experience in customer service would be an advantage.
• Experience working with international shipments, customs documentation, and European logistics would be desirable.
