Software Engineer embedded systems for Introprogram Husqvarna

About the role

As a software engineer, you will work with the development of embedded software for advanced motor controller systems for larger ride-on products. The focus is on brushless motors (BLDC), control systems, and displays.

You will become part of a team developing a new platform for electrified products. The work extends from the early development phase to the finished product, which means you are involved all the way – from idea to production.

In the role, you will among other things:

Develop and program embedded systems in C

Work with motor controllers, control systems, and displays

Participate in the development of architecture for new systems

Test and verify functionality both in the lab and on finished products

Troubleshoot, measure, and optimize the software in practical environments

The work is both practical and analytical – you will not only sit at the computer but also be out testing the products, both indoors and in the field. Business travel occurs both in Sweden and abroad.

Your profile

To thrive in the role, we believe you have a great interest in technology and like to work closely with the product. You are curious, structured, and have an analytical mindset.

We see that you have:

A few years of experience in embedded development

Very good knowledge of programming in C

A strong interest in embedded systems

Fluent English in speech and writing

B-driver's license

It is meritorious if you have:

University education in a relevant field

Swedish in speech and writing

Hobby projects in programming are considered highly meritorious.
