Mechanical Designer – for upcoming consulting assignments

About the role We are looking for experienced mechanical/machine engineers for upcoming assignments with our customers within industry, product development, or manufacturing activities. In the role, you will work with developing, designing, and improving mechanical solutions, from idea to finished product. The assignments and their content may vary depending on the business, but what is common is that you become an important part of the work.
Examples of tasks:
Mechanical design and product development, from idea to finished product
Develop technical solutions, drawing bases, and documentation in CAD/3D environments
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, risk assessments, and CE requirements
Perform calculations and ensure functionality, safety, and quality
Collaborate with colleagues within, for example, production, purchasing, or quality
About you We are looking for you who have a strong technical background and have worked for a few/several years in mechanical design, machine engineering, or product development. You are comfortable and experienced in responsible roles where you get to combine analysis, design, and collaboration with other functions within the business.
Requirements:
Civil engineer or university engineer in mechanical/machine engineering or similar
3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, and/or manufacturing industry
Very good experience with CAD, 2D drawings, and 3D modeling
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
