About the role We are looking for you who are at the beginning of your career. This is a unique opportunity for you who are a recent graduate and want to develop in an environment where experienced competence is close at hand. The team wants to expand and views positively the intake of junior electrical power designers who can start now, during, or after the summer.

We are looking for you who want to take the step into the electrical power world and develop in a high-tech environment where generators, switchgear, frequency converters, motors, and peripheral equipment constitute the hub of our projects. You will become part of Electrical System with responsibility for generator and generator protection. Here you will work closely with both electrical power designers, mechanical designers, and project managers to ensure that the gas turbine systems receive the right conditions to deliver at top level.

The work is carried out in project form where you are part of a group of six electrical power engineers, who in turn are part of a larger department of approximately 20 people. A project typically spans 14 months, which gives you time to follow the entire chain – from design and ordering to installation, commissioning, and handover to aftersales. You work based on established templates and processes, but with great scope for customer customization and technical responsibility.

In the role, you will among other things:

Design and order equipment within the electrical power area

Work in Comos (similar to Eplan) to draw and build up circuit diagrams

Create electrical documentation and design documentation for procurement, installation, and assembly

Adapt solutions according to the customer's needs

Deliver complete circuit diagrams in project form

Provide technical support after commissioning until aftersales takes over

We are looking for you who are…

A recent graduate civil engineer or college engineer within electrical power/electrical power technology

Alternatively: many years of relevant professional experience in combination with a YH-education within electrical power

English in speech and writing

Note: A pure electrical engineering education (e.g., LIU elektro) needs to be supplemented with courses in electrical power to be relevant.
