Job Description

As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for performing maintenance work on FRAMO pump systems on board ships during repair periods or scheduled maintenance. Initially, you will focus primarily on visual inspections of the FRAMO pump systems, automation, hydraulic control systems, and the quality of hydraulic oil. These activities are mainly carried out in the ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Antwerp. The duration of the jobs varies from 1 to 3 days, depending on the location within or outside Europe. With increasing experience, you will independently perform maintenance and repairs on pump systems on-site at customer locations. This work takes place mainly outside Europe, with assignments ranging from the North Cape to Cape Town and from Ireland to Turkey. Your tasks include both regular maintenance and ad-hoc troubleshooting in the hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fields. These jobs can vary from 1 to 2 weeks.

Core Tasks:

• Performing service and maintenance work, as well as inspections on FRAMO pump systems;
• Troubleshooting;
• Administrative processing of the work;
• Correct reporting of the work, hours worked, and expenses.

Job Requirements

• Technical MBO education;
• Strong service-oriented attitude;
• Interest in pump systems and shipping;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
• Preferably residing in Zuid-Holland;
• You have a positive attitude, are enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and enjoy working independently. Additionally, you can handle responsibility well. You are flexible, do not have a 9-to-5 mentality, and are reasonably available on weekends and public holidays in consultation.
