Expert EMC M/F

The Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Business Unit (BU) brings together 2,000 employees spread across 10 countries and is experiencing strong growth. This entity designs, produces, and delivers safety instrumentation and control systems for nuclear boilers. Essential to the safety of nuclear reactors, these devices are installed in about forty power plants in twenty countries. The ICT entity designs, develops, markets, and maintains the safety electronic and digital products delivered to our customers (PLCs, software, human-machine interfaces, sensors, etc...).

You will be integrated into the "Project Management, Architecture & Licensing" team, which is responsible for architecture design, qualification, and project management for the development of safety PLCs.

Under the responsibility of the department head, you will provide and promote EMC expertise on the PLCs developed by the ICTS teams. Your main missions:

• During the bidding or requirement specification phase, you analyze the EMC requirements of various projects and establish the qualification strategy.
• During the design phase, you take part in product design, offering your expertise to the electronic and system development teams.
• During the testing phase, you perform EMC derisking tests on prototypes in our internal laboratory.
• During the qualification phase, you are in charge of various EMC qualification activities: definition of qualification specimens, drafting of procedures, arguments, and reports, and monitoring of tests in external laboratories.
• As an expert, your role is also to develop and extend EMC expertise within the company through technological monitoring, knowledge capitalization, and training actions.
• Finally, you may represent the company in national and international normative committees in the field of civil nuclear control and command, and contribute to the evolution of standards.

Required skills:

• Expertise in EMC (standards, design, and testing)
• Knowledge in electronics and electrical engineering
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with various stakeholders (hardware, V&V, quality, test.)
• Documentary rigor and organizational skills
• Analytical spirit, synthesis capacity, and solution orientation

Candidate profile description

• Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent
• You have at least 10 years of experience in EMC. You have already qualified products.
• Experience in a constrained environment (nuclear, railway, aeronautics) is highly appreciated
• Interpersonal skills, writing skills

English at least B2 on the CEFR scale
