About the company

Fram is working with an established specialist lender that is looking to engage with a Lending Director to support the continued growth of its development finance business. The role is focused on originating new lending opportunities and developing relationships with property developers across the UK.

Your tasks

The position offers considerable autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys being commercially active, meeting developers, understanding their funding requirements and structuring appropriate lending solutions. The successful individual will work closely with the firm's credit and underwriting teams, helping to progress transactions from initial enquiry through to completion.

Requirements

The business is particularly interested in individuals with an established network of property developers and a strong understanding of development finance. The ability to originate opportunities, build long-term relationships and assess the commercial merits of lending proposals will be important. There is an emphasis on developing repeat business and maintaining a strong presence within the property development market.

This may appeal to an established Development Finance BDM or Lending Director who is looking for a new opportunity, or an ambitious Portfolio Manager with strong developer relationships who is ready to move into a more commercially focused role. Applicants will need a good understanding of development lending, strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage directly with experienced property developers and professional introducers.
