Your tasks
About the Role The company is seeking technically strong engineers to build data pipelines, automation systems, and AI-powered workflows. The role combines hands-on software engineering with direct collaboration with AI researchers and enterprise customers.
Engineers will help design datasets, develop automated production systems, evaluate model performance, and ensure data quality meets research requirements.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, AI agents, and workflow automation systems.
- Collaborate with AI lab researchers to define dataset requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Develop automated processes for generating tasks, reference outputs, and validation checks.
- Review datasets, identify inconsistencies, and investigate model failures.
- Improve data quality and evaluation methods through testing and feedback.
- Work directly with enterprise customers, researchers, and domain experts.
- Translate research requirements into practical technical solutions.
Requirements
Experience: 0–5 years (new graduates welcome)
Tech stack: Data Pipelines, AI Agents, LLM Evaluations, Synthetic Data, Claude Code, Distributed Eval Infrastructure
- 0–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
- Experience building AI applications, data pipelines, or automation systems.
- Background in a leading tech company, startup, or quantitative trading firm.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Must be available to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area; relocation assistance is not offered.
What we offer
Salary: $200,000–$400,000 base
- Base salary of $200,000–$400,000.
