Engineer/Technician (m/f/d) Mechanical Engineering – Focus on Marine Engineering (Engineer - Mechanical Engineering)

Your tasks:

• Tasks in the field of marine engineering, including heating and fresh water systems, including production, wastewater systems, including treatment, pumping, bilge, ballast, and fire fighting systems, special fire extinguishing systems (gas, water mist, sprinkler, foam, monitors) and compressed air systems
• Development of technical concepts and creation of specifications for the approval and procurement process
• Design and calculations of ship operating systems
• Creation and maintenance of schematic piping plans based on the construction specification and classification regulations in cooperation with our product design team
• Technical coordination with customers and suppliers as well as the evaluation of offers and creation of decision proposals
• Technical risk and cost assessment
• Cooperation with the other design departments and manufacturing

Your profile:

• Completed technical or scientific studies or technician training (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in the field as well as in integration in shipbuilding is desirable
• Knowledge in the use of CAD software for schematic creation as well as good MS Office skills
• Good written and spoken English skills in the field
• Confident appearance, independence, assertiveness as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
