IT Security Engineer

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer responsible for strengthening and maintaining the security of the organization's technological infrastructure, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices. You will be responsible for the monitoring, analysis, and management of security incidents, as well as the implementation of controls that mitigate technological risks.

Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Computación, Informática, or a related field.
• Knowledge of information security management systems and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and/or NIST.
• Experience in SOC (Security Operations Center).
• Management of logs and correlation of security events.
• Experience in identification, analysis, and management of security incidents.
• Conversational English (capable of participating in meetings and communicating with global teams).
• Analytical capacity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze security events to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage security incidents from identification to resolution.
• Implement and follow up on security controls aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Perform risk analyses and propose preventive and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
• Generate reports and metrics related to security events and incidents.
