Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team and participate in the coordination and monitoring of projects, ensuring compliance with established activities, timelines, and objectives.

We are looking for a profile with foundations in Project Management, organized, analytical, and with an interest in professional development in project administration within an industrial and manufacturing environment.

Main responsibilities

• Monitor the different stages of projects: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closing.
• Monitor the activity schedule and perform updates when changes occur.
• Coordinate activities and commitment dates with project members.
• Maintain communication and follow-up with clients, internal teams, and international teams.
• Prepare and update progress reports, indicators, and project presentations.
• Monitor costs, resources, and assigned activities.
• Identify risks, problems, and deviations, following up on the corresponding action plans.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of mitigation plans.
• Maintain control of agreements, responsible parties, and commitment dates.
• Monitor changes and adjustments requested during project development.
• Participate in follow-up meetings with the different stakeholders involved.
• Support the documentation of lessons learned and project closing.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, project coordination, or a similar position.
• Experience in monitoring projects, activities, and schedules.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate-advanced English.
• Desirable experience in manufacturing, Supply Chain, or industrial companies.
• Desirable knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, Trello, Monday, Jira, or similar.
