Job description and/or responsibility in the activity:

  • Perform diagnosis and repair of complex failures in PLCs, peripheral systems, and robot controllers during the shift.
  • Handling of Omron Sysmac Studio, programming for ABB robots (RAPID) and KUKA (KRL).
  • Execute trajectory point recovery and calibration of industrial robots.
  • Modify and optimize logic sequences in PLC to correct intermittent errors on the line.
  • Perform periodic backups of control programs and vision configurations.
  • Adjust inspection tools in vision systems to avoid false rejects in production.
  • Provide technical assistance to the team on problems that exceed the basic repair level.
  • Configure and register nodes in industrial networks (EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP) after component replacement.
  • Technically document the root causes of line stops.
  • Validate the correct functioning of safety systems.

Requirements:

Education: Engineering in mecatronica, electronics, electromechanics, or industrial. Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years in automatic line operations (Electronics Manufacturing).

Technical Mastery:

  • Advanced handling of Omron Sysmac Studio, programming for ABB robots (RAPID) and KUKA (KRL).
  • Configuration and diagnosis in Keyence, Cognex, or Luster platforms.
  • Configuration of EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and RS232/485 topologies.
  • Configuration of axes, speed profiles, and tuning of servodrives.
  • Modification of operation screens (HMI) and alarm management.
  • Configuration of Keyence safety modules and safety logic in PLC.
  • Simple SQL queries to verify communication with systems.
  • Integration of electronic screw driving controllers into the cell logic.
  • Configuration of laser displacement sensors and area scanners.
  • Knowledge in robot maintenance: grease changes, batteries, and cable inspection.
  • Identification of physical failures in I/O boards and communication modules.
  • Understanding of Yield metrics and cycle times for code optimization.

Language: Intermediate-Advanced English (Indispensable)
