Quality Manager

Job Functions:

Lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure that products meet quality standards and satisfy customer specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities and functions.

Responsible and leader of the Quality Department at FTX

• Direct and guarantee the closed-loop of corrective actions for quality issues at FTX
• Drive the cross-functional team (CFT) to meet or exceed customer expectations regarding quality through continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the quality system at FTX and seeking continuous improvement. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, other plants, and internal departments to resolve quality issues. Responsible for the MRB and driving the disposition of materials in the MRB. Ensure preparation and final approval (FAI) for NPI, ECO, and deviations implementations (via MCO, Agile, SAP). Ensure the closure of purges and rework. Responsible for compliance with UL/CSATUV product audits and the ISO standard.
• Perform 7´S audits and drive continuous improvement.

Education Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems. 3 years of supervisory experience are required.

Special Skill Requirements:

Familiarity with the ISO quality system (experience in the electronic assembly industry is preferred), SPC, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of MBNA is valued.

Indispensable: Conversational and fluent English (Advanced).
