Accountant

Responsibilities:

Record and classify transactions; maintain the general ledger (journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions). Prepare bank, receivables, payables, payroll, and fixed asset reconciliations. Process accounts receivable and payable. Assist with financial statements and management accounts. Maintain records and audit documentation. Support tax computation and filing; support month-end and year-end close.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 2–4 years' relevant experience. ICAN/ACCA/ACA or active progress towards one. Working knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and Nigerian tax requirements; ERP and strong Excel proficiency. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, and strong communication skills.
