Accounts Senior

Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA or QBE Worcester or Droitwich Full time - hybrid Study support We are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Senior to join our clients Business Services team. This role is ideal for a part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant or a qualified-by-experience professional who enjoys taking ownership of client work and delivering high-quality year-end accounts, financial statements and tax computations. You will play a key role in ensuring client work is completed efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed service level agreements, while supporting and reviewing the work of Associates. Primary Purpose of the Role To oversee the preparation and processing of financial information To take responsibility for the preparation of year-end accounts, statutory financial statements and tax computations To ensure Service Level Agreements are met across your client portfolio Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients, reporting directly to the Client Manager Proactively ensure all work is completed accurately and to agreed deadlines Review the work of Associates and provide guidance and support as required Preparation of: Year-end statutory accounts Financial statements Corporation tax and income tax computations

Preparation or review of monthly and quarterly management accounts Review and submission of VAT, CIS and MTD returns Provide client support as required, including training and support with Xero Raise bills for your own client portfolio Work closely with other members of the Business Services team Optional line management responsibilities for Associates Attendance at college where applicable if studying towards qualifications Person Specification Essential Part-Qualified ACA / ACCA or Qualified by Experience (QBE) Excellent organisational skills Good communication skills with both clients and colleagues Attention to detail Ability to prioritise Can work to deadlines Can work on own initiative Can work with and adapt around various forms of technology Can demonstrate an ability to innovate and share ideas For more information on this position, please contact Harriet Ali at Four Squared Recruitment.
