F&B Supervisor
The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage establishment, ensuring smooth service, good food quality, cleanliness, and proper customer service. The supervisor coordinates staff, monitors daily operations, and ensures that company and food safety standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the F&B outlet.
- Assign duties and work schedules to kitchen and service staff.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and work performance.
- Ensure food is prepared, handled, and served according to company standards.
- Check food quality, portion sizes, presentation, and freshness.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers or the purchasing team for replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food, ingredients, and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
- Ensure kitchen, dining, storage, and work areas are clean and well maintained.
- Attend to customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Monitor sales and daily operations and report issues to the management.
- Ensure cash handling and outlet procedures are properly followed where applicable.
- Train and guide new and existing staff on work procedures and service standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Assist during busy periods when necessary.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are used properly and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Carry out other operational duties assigned by management.
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous experience in F&B operations or a supervisory role preferred.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and food safety practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to supervise and motivate a team.
- Able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment.
- Responsible, organised, and able to handle operational issues.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required.
