Photographer's Assistant (Internship)

FotoHub is a well-established group specializing in commercial printing, digital archiving, and retail digital imaging services. Since 1987, it offers photo printing, large format printing, mass digitization, and digital asset management across 8 outlets.
We are looking for an Intern to assist the Photographer on the day-to-day photo shoot and operations for a period of 3 - 6 months.
Job Summary
Assist and coordinate school class photo shoots, supporting smooth operations and ensuring quality image capture.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and coordinating school class photo shoots to ensure timely and efficient sessions
- Operate DSLR cameras with basic skills to capture clear and well-composed photographs
- Use Photoshop, Lightroom, and other digital media software to support photo editing and processing tasks
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to assist with documentation and scheduling tasks as needed
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and clients during photo shoots
- Manage groups of children and adults patiently and passionately to maintain order and cooperation
- Respond quickly and confidently to resolve challenges or unexpected situations during shoots
- Work early hours starting from 7am and adhere to tight schedules to meet project deadlines
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall photo shoot process
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic DSLR camera skills
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, and other digital media software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
