Your role as Operations Manager

Do you want to bear ultimate responsibility for a production site and yet remain close to the operation and the people? As Operations Manager at Foseco Nederland in Hengelo, you will manage the plant and simultaneously represent the interests of the location within the international Vesuvius organization. This requires an experienced Manager who is visible on the shop floor, makes clear choices, and is strong enough to implement these strategically.

What do you bring?

• Several years of experience as an ultimately responsible person within a technical production or manufacturing environment
• Financial and business insight to manage on, among other things, budgets, costs, inventories, and KPI's
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect different levels and disciplines
• A coaching, motivating leadership style with which you know how to build trust
• Excellent command of the English language is a requirement. German is an advantage
• Experience within the chemical industry is a plus
• You are familiar with digitalization and automation.
