Under the supervision of a team engineer, you will develop skills in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE solutions, notably Virtual Companions and Generative Experiences. You will then put these technologies into practice on concrete industrial use cases, in which the continuity of information and models is ensured, thereby accelerating product development times, from specification engineering to detailed 3D design.

Your tasks The internship will focus notably on: Exploring industrial scenarios: Identifying, with the CATIA pre-sales and R&D teams, the problems encountered by customers and evaluating how generative AI solutions can support end-to-end design processes, from specifications to detailed 3D design. Defining methodologies and best practices: Building and experimenting with reproducible approaches to integrate generative AI capabilities into industrial processes and ensure the continuity of information and models between different design stages. Developing new use cases: Working in collaboration with R&D teams to explore and develop new skills, processes, and innovative methodologies, and implementing them on concrete industrial use cases. Experimentation and capitalization: Evaluating developed approaches through functional demonstrators, analyzing their results, and formalizing best practices and feedback for CATIA R&D and pre-sales teams.

Artificial intelligence is a major innovation within CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE, appearing in two forms: Generative Experiences meeting very specific industrial needs such as requirement generation from a document, 3D model regeneration from a drawing, or automatic generation of assembly constraints. Virtual Companions, AI agents integrated directly into CATIA to assist the designer and automate certain complex tasks. Since their integration, these tools have allowed our customers to significantly accelerate the development of their industrial products by automating tasks.

Your qualifications Student in the final year of engineering school (Master's degree / BAC +5), specializing in mechanical design, you are looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship to put your skills into practice and deepen your knowledge in an innovative and stimulating industrial environment.

Your assets: Technical curiosity and desire to learn, combining rigor and creativity to solve complex problems. Developed interpersonal skills, with a real capacity for listening and a strong taste for collaborative work. Autonomy in your work, you know how to organize yourself to move effectively toward the objectives entrusted to you.

Technical skills: Initial experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE modeling tools. Notions of different concepts related to artificial intelligence (LLM, generative AI, agents). Fluent English (advanced level in both writing and speaking). Knowledge in Systems Engineering and MBSE would be a plus (example: Requirements and Test Management, SysML Architecture, Pre-dimensioning, Modelica,...)
