The Engineering Directorate (DirIN), and its 6,000 employees, carries the development stakes of the Group's new nuclear engineering activity and contributes significantly to the engineering of the operating fleet.
Working Environment:
Within DirIN, the CNEPE carries out various engineering activities related to the machine room, the cold source, and site installations. Our Unit is at the heart of projects in France and internationally.
Within the Studies Department and more specifically the Mechanical Systems and Installation Service (SIM) of the CNEPE, composed of about a hundred engineers and technicians, we are recruiting our Piping Design and Implementation Engineer.
Your Daily Routine:
You are a reference in the use and implementation of construction standards applicable to the design and implementation (procurement, prefabrication, site assembly) of piping networks for the conventional island, the machine room, the cold source, and site structures of nuclear power plants.
Sizing piping installations, verifying the compliance of existing installations, designing modifications to existing installations, and re-evaluating the robustness of existing networks in view of evolutions in standards and safety requirements.
Also ensure the management and monitoring of activities in this field, and as such, prescribe contracts, ensure their technical management, and coordinate contracted activities.
Take charge of modification files for existing installations or the creation of new installations, integrating dimensions of project management and implementation monitoring, including in the event of handling deviations. Also contribute to the processing of responses to be provided in support of the operator in case of unforeseen events.
In general, you will be required to contribute at all levels to the design activities of piping networks and supports, and to the implementation of these installations, across all projects managed by the CNEPE.
Talents Sought
Holder of an engineering degree or equivalent Bac+5 with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanics, ideally in piping.

Occasional travel is to be expected to nuclear sites and engineering centers in France and abroad. Therefore, a fluent level of English is required in order to be able to share/convince our international partners.
