Job Description Hapto is a fintech specializing in Embedded Finance. Our platform allows software publishers and their users to access financial services through APIs and cloud native integrations.
Our technological environment is based notably on: iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) platform oriented towards APIs, integrations, and automation Java / Quarkus AWS GitLab CI/CD OpenAPI API First Architecture Modern AI-assisted development methods
Your Task Within our Technology & Product team, you will actively participate in the design and evolution of our Embedded Finance platform. Supervised by experienced engineers, you will collaborate daily with product, design, and architecture teams on projects with high business and technological impact. You will not be an observer: you will contribute directly to the construction of products used by our partners and clients.
Software Development Participate in the development of business APIs and backend services Contribute to integration flows developed on the iPaaS tool Participate in integrations with our partners and producers Develop or evolve Hapto products Fix anomalies and improve application quality
Innovation and AI-assisted engineering Because development professions evolve rapidly, we are looking for an intern who has already developed a culture of AI tools applied to software engineering. While not the core of your task, you will be encouraged to: effectively use AI-based development assistants; experiment with new AI-assisted Software Engineering practices; share your discoveries and feedback with the team; contribute to the improvement of our productivity and software quality.
We will be particularly attentive to your understanding of approaches such as: AI-Assisted Development; Vibe Coding; Specification Driven Development (SDD); Automated test generation; AI-assisted code review; Development agents and modern software engineering tools.
Qualifications You are currently in your final year of: an engineering school specializing in computer science; or a Master 2 in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
You have an operational level of English, allowing you to communicate in an international technical environment and work with documentation mostly written in English.
Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for a personality capable of: Contributing concretely to the development and evolution of our platform; Integrating quickly into an agile, collaborative, and demanding team; Demonstrating autonomy, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking; Taking an interest in new software engineering practices and emerging uses of artificial intelligence; Bringing a fresh perspective to our methods, tools, and processes; Sharing ideas and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our development practices.
We will be particularly sensitive to applications demonstrating an interest in cloud technologies, APIs, modern software architecture, and new AI-assisted development approaches.
