You will contribute to various projects involving the design, development, and validation of models and simulations for various industrial applications. This internship offers a unique opportunity to acquire practical experience in using advanced simulation tools at SIMULIA and to collaborate with experts in the field through our 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The internship will allow you to explore new simulation construction processes by integrating interdisciplinary fluid dynamics modeling and simulation solutions. You will be required to assist in the testing and deployment of innovative approaches, including automation processes for CFD (Fluid Mechanics) models from CAD to simulation results within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The internship will allow you to acquire real industrial work experience by participating in cutting-edge projects with a unique and futuristic approach, using the most high-performance CFD simulation tools in a dynamic and innovative work environment.Your tasks Develop skills in aerodynamics and thermodynamics, applied in complex industrial projects using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the full suite of SIMULIA Fluide tools. Participate in the design and deployment of methodologies to simulate fluid flows and associated phenomena. Use SIMULIA CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software to create and test simulation models. Analyze and validate models and fluid simulation automation processes by adjusting parameters for simulation preparation times while ensuring simulation reliability. Work closely with other team members, including CFD engineers, researchers, and simulation experts. Document processes, methodologies, and project results. Communicate results and conclusions to stakeholders through technical reports and presentations. Your qualifications You are preparing for an Engineering school degree or a Master's degree (Bac +5) with a specialty in mechanics or numerical simulation, with a particular interest in CFD. Good understanding of the basic principles of fluid dynamics and simulation. Familiarity with CFD tools (PowerFLOW, ANSYS Fluent, CCM+, OpenFOAM, .) is a plus. Training in the fundamentals of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Knowledge of aerodynamics and thermodynamics will be an asset. Theoretical knowledge of Navier-Stokes and LBM (Lattice-Boltzmann Method) CFD codes. Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, VBA, etc.) is a plus. Desired professional qualities: Ability to solve problems analytically and innovatively. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team and collaborate with experts from different fields. Ambition to work on challenging projects and acquire new skills. Autonomy and initiative. Fluent technical English.
