The world is how we shape it Job Description The Sopra Steria Data Center of Excellence (DCoE), a transverse entity of the France pole, is at the heart of supporting and transforming the Data / IA of our clients. Convinced that Data is the engine of an evolving and sustainable industrial foundation built to meet business challenges, we work across the entire chain to bring value to our clients at all levels (business, IT, CxO) in connection with our consulting and delivery teams. The DCOE brings together technological and methodological expertise across the entire Data value chain: from transformation strategy to the implementation of daily IA usage, including governance and Data Cloud and on premise architectures. Working Environment As an experienced Data Engineer, you will join our Data center of excellence, which will allow you to intervene with various clients in diverse business sectors (Banking, Insurance, Public Sector, Telecom, Media, Gaming, Industry and Services) across the French territory. We intervene in support of delivery teams during the prospecting, pre-sales, and project realization phases. You will work primarily on data ingestion and transformation topics, while integrating concepts of data governance, data catalog, master data management, data quality, and IA industrialization. We work in partnership with leading market publishers, as well as with Hyperscalers. Your Tasks

• Design and implementation of data ingestions (real-time, asynchronous, intermediation tools)
• Implementation of transformations and data valuation (SQL, Python, Java, Scala)
• Knowledge of technical building blocks such as Datalake, Datawarehouse, MDM, and other intermediation tools (ETL, ESB, API management, etc.)
• Knowledge of methodology and tools around DevOps in a Data context
• Participation in client design and consulting workshops
• Scoping/Pre-sales, understanding an RFP, building a technical response (functional, technical, and software architecture) in order to defend it before a techno/functional audience
• Solid knowledge of on-premise and/or cloud infrastructure

Following your start, you will be required to provide development team management and participate in the delivery of the solution. Qualifications Profile sought With a Master's degree (engineering school or university), you have at least three years of experience in a DATA Engineer position which has allowed you to acquire solid skills. Do you have a particular sensitivity to broader Data topics (data quality, master data, governance, business processes)? This will be a real asset for you to adapt to the different projects you will be in charge of. Comfortable with public speaking, this will allow you to present and lead workshops and meetings regarding architecture solutions. Finally, you have a B2 level of English, which is necessary to address our clients abroad.
