PLM Functional Architect (M/F)

Job Description Your future working environment: Join CIMPA and participate in a formidable Human and Technological Adventure, at the heart of Digital Transformation! You will collaborate internally with multidisciplinary teams (consultants, management, industrial management) to support our large industrial customers in aeronautics, defense, energy, and transport. What if you joined our teams as a PLM Functional Architect? Your objective will be to propose the most suitable functional solutions in order to meet business needs. To achieve this, you will collaborate with the functional scoping team to understand the business need and associate it with a feasibility study. Thus, you will perform a needs analysis and then establish a list of possible solutions. You will perform an impact analysis of each solution and compare solutions to find the one that will be presented to the various stakeholders (business, functional scoping, urban planner). You will also need to exchange with developers if clarification is needed or to correct a non-feasibility of the functional solution.

Your tasks: In order to successfully carry out this role, you will need to perform these different tasks:

• Identification and collection of business needs
• Reading and understanding business / functional needs
• Definition of structuring hypotheses
• Feasibility / risk analysis
• Research and proposal of functional solutions adapted to needs
• OOTB functional tests
• Gap analysis between the OOTB solution and the need
• Presentation of the need and the associated solution to developers and solution architects
• Writing methods and UAT
• Preparation of demonstrations

Qualifications Let's talk about you:

• Higher education (Master's degree) from an Engineering/IT School, or equivalent training.
• Ideally, you have already taken part in PLM projects around the 3DExperience solution.
• You are a good communicator and are recognized for your adaptability and organization.
• Knowledge of 3DX parameterization aspects is appreciated.
• You are familiar with exchanges with developers - managing customization aspects (code).
• This position requires proficiency in English.
