JOB DESCRIPTION Job description

For an innovative and international production environment, we are looking for a sawyer.

Your package of tasks consists of:

• Sawing aluminum profiles according to technical drawings
• Alternating between series production and piecework (custom work)
• Setting up sawing machines (length, angles, …)
• Reading and interpreting technical plans
• Performing quality controls with measuring instruments (tape measure, caliper, gauges, …)
• Monitoring quality via control sheets
• Processing production orders in an ERP system
• Performing first-line maintenance (cleaning machines, replacing saw blades, …)
• Stepping in polyvalently where necessary
• Correct communication during shift handover

PROFILE Profile we are looking for

• Experience as a sawyer is required
• You can read technical plans and measure correctly
• Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus
• You work accurately and have an eye for quality and order
• Basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus
• Very good knowledge of English is required for communication on the shop floor
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
• You are a motivated team player with a positive mindset
