Technician

As a technician, you are responsible for technical support in the production process, reporting to the Technical Manager. You ensure that production is operational again as quickly as possible in the event of malfunctions or breakdowns.

Your role

• You detect technical malfunctions, analyze them, and solve them pragmatically.
• You document the solutions implemented.
• You work primarily mechanically (80% mechanical, 20% electrical).
• You work on a machine park consisting of, among others, milling machines, sawing machines, handling and pick & place robots, welding robots, and CNC machines.
• You regularly perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
• You continuously propose improvement ideas and implement them in collaboration with the Technical Manager.

Who are you?

• You have a technical diploma with prior knowledge of Electro/Mechanica.
• You have experience in the manufacturing industry, for example with CNC, robots, or fully automatic lines.
• You have experience with machine maintenance, including motors and transmissions, compressed air, and hydraulics.
• You have basic knowledge of electricity and HMI.
• Welding experience is a must.
• VCA and experience with a forklift/aerial work platform are an asset.
• You are fluent in English; Dutch is an asset.
• You have basic PC knowledge.
• You are willing to work in a 2-shift system.
• You have a hands-on mentality when tackling technical malfunctions.
• You can work independently, are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and result-oriented.
• You have a sense of reality when dealing with expensive equipment.
• You hold 5S in high regard.
• You are a team player with a positive attitude.
