You will not be wearing a helmet. You will not be planning military operations. And fortunately, you do not need to show up for morning roll call. Yet your job will be crucial to whether an important mission succeeds.

Operasjon Ellisiv needs people with the right competence in the right place at the right time. Interpreters, economists, logisticians, and other specialists do not appear by themselves. This is where you come in.

We are looking for you who can turn recruitment into an operational force. Someone who combines strong recruitment expertise with structure, relationships, and an understanding that sometimes it is urgent to get the right person on board.

Your most important task will be:

To ensure that Operasjon Ellisiv gets the civilian competence needed to complete the mission.

In short, you will:

  • Plan and execute the entire recruitment process for civilian positions for Operasjon Ellisiv
  • Act as a professional advisor and supporter for managers throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Ensure that all hires are made in accordance with the regulations for public employment
  • Prepare managers for interviews to ensure professional and equal treatment of all candidates
  • Handle dialogue with candidates, including international applicants, often with English as the working language
  • Contribute to developing recruitment methods to strengthen the general staffing of Forsvaret

When you succeed, you contribute directly to ensuring that Operasjon Ellisiv has the people needed to achieve its goals and support the overall mission of Forsvaret.

What you must have:

  • Higher education in HR, organizational psychology, administration, or equivalent
  • Relevant experience may, upon assessment, compensate for a lack of formal education.
  • Experience in recruitment work, HR advisory, or other relevant advisory activities.
  • Good English skills, both written and oral
  • You must be able to be security cleared to HEMMELIG and NATO SECRET before commencement (for more information about security clearance, see www.nsm.no)

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience with public employment regulations
  • Experience with international or multicultural candidate groups
  • Experience with SAP or other systems for resource planning (ERP systems).

Attach certificates and diplomas when you apply. If you have completed higher education outside of Norway, it must be approved by Direktoratet for høyere utdanning og kompetanse (formerly NOKUT), and you must document the approval.

How we believe you work:

  • You are able to give clear advice even when regulations and needs pull in different directions
  • You build trust with managers and candidates through good communication
  • You maintain an overview when many processes are moving simultaneously
  • You handle sensitive information with necessary discretion
  • You find solutions without compromising on quality or regulations

Why choose Forsvaret?

We offer our employees schemes and activities that facilitate well-being, motivation, and professional growth:

  • An exciting job with an important social mission
  • Belonging to a good professional and development environment with high competence
  • Flexible working hours
  • Opportunity for two hours of exercise during working hours per week
  • Membership in Statens pensjonskasse, which offers one of Norway's best pension schemes.

Become part of a community where we work together to secure Norway. Here you will have the opportunity to develop professionally in a professional environment characterized by the values of respect, responsibility, and courage.

You will be offered the position of rådgiver (job code 1434), with a salary from NOK 667,200 to NOK 782,900 per year, depending on qualifications. A 2% statutory contribution to Statens pensjonskasse will be deducted from the salary.

Someone completes the mission. Others ensure that the right people are in place to solve them.

Perhaps it is your turn to make the connection.

Strong and ready.

Make the connection.
