registered early childhood educator (RECE)

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our preschool team.

The successful candidate will help create a warm, engaging, and respectful environment where children can learn through play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.

*Responsibilities:*

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for preschool-aged children.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Encourage child-led play, exploration, and creativity.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team.
• Follow Ontario child care regulations, health and safety requirements, and centre policies.

*Qualifications:*

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
• Early Childhood Education diploma.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Food Handler Certificate.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last six months)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children is an asset.

Pay: $24.86-$25.86 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

• Preschool: 2 years (preferred)
