testing, adjusting and balancing (tab) technician for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (hvac)

*Responsibilities/Qualifications*

• Report to the lead installation for assignments.
• Fabricate, layout, and install ductwork for various systems on new construction projects.
• Read and interpret various types of drawings, including mechanical, architectural, and structural.
• Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards.
• Install ducting and equipment according to the diagrams and directions from the Supervisor.
• Carry out HVAC installations, which include ducting, fasteners on hangers, ducts, and insulation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery such as air handling units, fans, ventilation equipment, etc.
• Assist in verifying that the HVAC installation is functioning.
• Respect company policies.
• Communicate and interact with others respectfully and appropriately in all situations.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Experience in plumbing is an asset to assist with the other division if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$45.00 per hour
