Quality Engineer

About the role The Quality Engineer supports day-to-day Quality and Engineering activities associated with products, processes and operations. The role involves assisting in the investigation and resolution of product, process, manufacturing and customer-related issues, and supporting customer feedback and complaint activities. Key responsibilities Support day-to-day Quality and Engineering activities associated with products, processes and operations

Assist in the investigation and resolution of product, process, manufacturing and customer-related issues

Support customer feedback and complaint activities, including information gathering, investigation coordination, documentation and follow-up

Assist in identifying root causes of problems and implementing appropriate corrective and improvement actions

Support preparation, review and maintenance of technical and quality documentation

Support product and process verification, testing, inspection and evaluation activities as required

Participate in product, process and quality improvement projects

Collect, organise and analyse data to support problem solving, decision making and continuous improvement

Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Service and other departments to resolve issues and complete assigned projects

Support implementation of process improvements to improve product quality, efficiency, reliability and customer satisfaction

About you Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline

Preferably 1–3 years of relevant working experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, medical devices, life sciences or other technical industries

Fresh graduates with relevant internship, industrial attachment or project experience may also be considered

Good analytical and problem-solving ability

Statistical Analysis (Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, Gage R&R, DOE etc)

Root cause analysis (Kepner-Tregoe, 5-Why, 6M etc)

Strong attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication skills

Able to work effectively independently and within a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
