On behalf of a client, we are seeking a Payroll Specialist!

On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist. The role has independent responsibility for the payroll process and acts as a link between HR, employees, and an external payroll provider. You will work with the entire payroll process from A to Z for both onshore and offshore employees, and handle both Norwegian and international payroll-related matters.

Responsibilities  Execution and quality assurance of monthly payroll runs for onshore and offshore employees Follow-up of payroll data in collaboration with an external payroll provider International offshore payroll administration, including tax and duty-related matters Reconciliation, control, and manual payroll calculations Tax and duty reporting in Norway and internationally Follow-up of pension, travel expenses, and other taxable benefits Answering payroll-related questions from employees Contributing to any system changes or implementation of a new payroll system

We are looking for you who Have relevant higher education, preferably within finance, administration, or similar Have solid experience with payroll work and are confident in handling payroll processes independently Have experience with payroll runs, reconciliation, and reporting Have a good understanding of tax, duties, and current regulations Have experience with payroll systems and good IT skills Master English well, both orally and in writing Experience with UBW, several different payroll systems, and payroll runs for both onshore and offshore personnel will be an advantage. The same applies to experience from the offshore, energy, or related industries.
