Narrative Designer

Your tasks

About the Role We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Narrative Designer to develop engaging stories, compelling characters, and interactive storylines for our digital products. In this role, you will design how stories unfold, how characters interact, and how user choices influence the direction and outcome of a story. You will help create immersive storytelling experiences with multiple possible paths and endings.

• Develop original story concepts, plots, characters, and fictional worlds.
• Design branching narratives in which user choices influence story progression and outcomes.
• Write engaging dialogue, character interactions, and story events in English.
• Create story outlines, narrative flowcharts, and documentation to map different story paths.
• Maintain consistency in character personalities, plot details, and story continuity across multiple branches.
• Collaborate with the product and development teams to translate creative concepts into interactive storytelling experiences.
• Review and refine story content to ensure quality, coherence, and audience engagement.

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Excellent creative writing, storytelling, and narrative development skills.
• Understanding of plot structure, character development, dialogue writing, and story pacing.
• Ability to design branching narratives, multiple story paths, and alternative endings.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain narrative consistency.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• A portfolio showcasing creative writing, storytelling, interactive fiction, or related projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in game writing, interactive fiction, narrative design, or similar creative roles.
• Familiarity with branching narrative tools such as Twine, Ink, or similar platforms.
• Experience writing stories for digital products, games, AI-powered applications, or interactive entertainment.
