Database Administrator/Engineer M/F

As a database administrator, you are the guarantor of the availability, integrity, and performance of all the group's database management systems (DBMS).

Your missions: Operations and Maintenance (MCO): Ensure the availability and optimal performance of production databases.

Manage disk space, capacity, and scalability.

Implement and control backup, restoration, and disaster recovery strategies.

Participate in the resolution of technical incidents (level 2 and 3) related to DBMS.

Security and Evolution: Define and apply security policies (management of access, roles, permissions).

Perform DBMS upgrades and apply security patches.

Document database architecture and administration procedures.

Optimization and Development Support: Perform performance audits and optimize complex SQL queries and data structures (indexing, fragmentation).

Provide technical support to development teams for schema design and the implementation of new databases.

Higher education in computer science (Bac+3/5, such as a Professional License or Master's degree, specialization in databases).

Similar professional experience of at least 5 years in a Database Administrator or Data Engineer position.

Mastery of technical English is essential (written and oral).

Position to be filled at the FM Logistic group headquarters located in Phalsbourg (40 min from Strasbourg by car).
