AU Creator

Responsibilities:

• Develop and create engaging Alternative Universe (AU) stories and original storytelling content across multiple digital platforms.
• Create compelling storylines, characters, conflicts, plot twists, and narratives that keep audiences engaged.
• Develop AU content in various formats, including written stories, fake chats, social media threads, photo slides, short-form videos, and other digital storytelling formats.
• Adapt storytelling concepts and content formats based on the characteristics and audience of each platform.
• Write natural, relatable, and engaging dialogue and narratives that resonate with digital audiences.
• Develop creative concepts inspired by current trends, pop culture, fandom culture, internet conversations, and audience interests.
• Collaborate with creative, social media, and production teams to translate story concepts into engaging visual and digital content.
• Ensure consistency in characters, storyline, tone, and narrative across multiple episodes or content formats.
• Monitor audience responses, engagement, and content performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging digital trends, storytelling formats, online communities, and platform behaviors.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new AU concepts, story series, and creative content ideas.

Requirements:

• Strong interest and understanding of Alternative Universe (AU), fanfiction, and digital storytelling.
• Strong creative writing and storytelling skills.
• Active and familiar with multiple social media and digital content platforms.
• Able to understand and adapt content to different platform formats and audiences.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, character development, and narrative structure.
• Able to create engaging hooks, relatable dialogue, and compelling storylines.
• Creative, imaginative, and willing to experiment with different storytelling formats.
• Good understanding of internet culture, fandom communities, and digital trends.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in maintaining character and storyline consistency.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with creative and social media teams.
• Previous experience creating AU, fanfiction, digital stories, or other social media content is highly preferred.
• Portfolio or examples of previous storytelling/content work are a strong plus.
