Your tasks
- Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of production machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs.
- Monitor the operation and performance of powder coating equipment.
- Assist in maintaining spray booths, curing ovens, conveyor systems and other production equipment.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
- Prepare maintenance records and report equipment breakdowns.
- Assist in equipment improvement and modification works.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Preferably 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in machinery maintenance, troubleshooting or manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools and equipment.
- Able to perform maintenance and repair work independently.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
